Can Brightspace (D2L) Quiz Logs Detect Switching Tabs or Split Screen? (2026)
D2L Brightspace includes a detailed Quiz Event Log that records question saves, page transitions, and browser focus changes during timed quizzes.
What the Brightspace Quiz Event Log shows instructors
Instructors reviewing a Brightspace attempt can view timestamps for when each question was entered and saved, along with focus-loss indicators if the quiz tab was backgrounded.
Keeping Brightspace focused with Evadely
Because Evadely's overlay never activates or steals focus from the underlying window, your Brightspace quiz tab remains the active foreground window for the entire exam.
