Why students replace Chegg with Evadely in 2026: real-time on-screen AI solving inside LockDown Browser, Honorlock, and Canvas without academic honor-code IP disclosures.
Why students switch from Chegg to Evadely
| Feature / Workflow | Evadely | Chegg |
|---|---|---|
| How it works during an exam | Instant on-screen AI overlay and Auto Solver right over LockDown Browser or Canvas | Requires leaving the exam to search a web database on another tab or phone |
| Professor honeypot & IP tracking risk | Private AI inference per screenshot; never posts questions to a public searchable page | Publicly indexed questions have historically been used by universities to match student timestamps |
| Novel & professor-written questions | Solves brand-new questions, charts, and code instantly using GPT 6 Astra & Gemini 3.1 Pro | Fails if the exact question has not already been answered in the archive |
